Facade Lighting Services LLC conducted detailed consultations with the Thailand Pavilion Expo 2020 Dubai’s management and Expo delegation to understand their vision, preferences, and lighting requirements for the project, while aligning with the pavilion’s thematic concept and cultural representation.

Design Phase

Our team of experienced lighting designers meticulously crafted tailored lighting designs to accentuate the Thailand Pavilion’s architectural features, façade, and thematic elements. This involved selecting optimal fixtures, placements, and lighting techniques to create an immersive and visually captivating ambiance that showcased Thailand’s cultural diversity and innovation.

Installation 

Skilled technicians from Facade Lighting Services LLC executed the installation of the lighting fixtures with precision and expertise, ensuring seamless integration with the Thailand Pavilion’s exterior and interior spaces, as well as compliance with Expo 2020 Dubai’s regulations and safety standards.

Testing and Calibration

Rigorous testing and calibration procedures were conducted to validate the performance, reliability, and consistency of the lighting systems, ensuring optimal functionality and alignment with the Thailand Pavilion’s thematic narrative and operational requirements throughout the Expo duration.

Lighting Specification

Fixture Selection 

High-quality LED fixtures renowned for their durability, color rendering capabilities, and energy efficiency were carefully selected for the project. Fixtures were strategically positioned to highlight key architectural elements, cultural exhibits, and thematic motifs of the Thailand Pavilion, while providing flexibility for dynamic lighting effects and storytelling.

Color Temperature 

A vibrant and dynamic range of color temperatures was employed to create different moods, atmospheres, and thematic settings within the Thailand Pavilion, ranging from warm and inviting hues to cool and vibrant tones that reflected Thailand’s diverse landscapes, traditions, and innovations.

Accent Lighting 

Directional spotlights, linear fixtures, and decorative lighting elements were used to accentuate specific cultural exhibits, artworks, and interactive installations, adding visual interest and guiding visitors through the pavilion’s thematic journey and experiential zones.

Control Systems

Advanced lighting control systems were integrated to allow for dynamic programming, sequencing, and synchronization of lighting effects, enabling the Thailand Pavilion’s lighting to respond to visitor interactions, performances, and special events while maximizing energy efficiency and operational flexibility.

Energy Efficiency

The lighting solutions implemented prioritized energy efficiency and sustainability, incorporating smart controls, timers, and occupancy sensors to minimize energy consumption without compromising the Thailand Pavilion’s visual impact or operational needs during the Expo.
