Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced 3D Graphic Designer to join our team. The Lighting Designer will create conceptual and detailed lighting designs for various facade lighting projects. This role requires a creative individual with a deep understanding of lighting principles, aesthetics, and technical specifications.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Lighting Designer, preferably in the facade lighting or architectural lighting design field.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  3. Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., Dialux, AGi32, Relux, or similar).
  4. Must know 3D designing and be comfortable working with 3D modeling tools/software.
  5. Strong understanding of lighting principles, photometry, and color theory.
  6. Ability to translate conceptual ideas into practical lighting solutions.
  7. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and design.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1.         Collaborate with architects, project managers, and clients to understand requirements.
  2.         Develop innovative and conceptually strong lighting designs that meet aesthetic and functional goals.
  3.         Create mood boards, sketches, and renderings to communicate design concepts effectively.
  4.         Produce detailed lighting layouts, calculations, and specifications.
  5.         Select appropriate lighting fixtures, controls, and equipment based on project requirements.
  6.         Ensure compliance with lighting codes, standards, and energy efficiency guidelines.
  7.         Assist in the planning and coordination of lighting design aspects within projects.
  8.         Work closely with engineering teams to integrate lighting designs with architectural plans.
  9.         Provide technical support and guidance during project implementation.
  10.         Present lighting design concepts and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  11.         Address client feedback and incorporate revisions into design proposals.
  12.         Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
  13.         Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in lighting design.
  14.         Conduct research to enhance design capabilities and propose innovative lighting solutions.
  15.         Experiment with new techniques and materials to achieve desired lighting effects.
  16.         Conduct quality checks and reviews of lighting designs to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  17.         Prepare comprehensive documentation, including drawings, schedules, and specifications.
  18.         Maintain organized project files and records throughout the design process.
